GEORGE LUEKEN, 82, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2011, at St. Anne Home & Retirement Community in Fort Wayne. Born in Sigel, ILL., he was the owner of Mullinix Packages Inc., operating in Fort Wayne since 1976. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren, gadgets and woodworking. He was a true visionary, building an innovative company in which he remained active until his death. He was a man of faith and integrity. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pauline; daughters, Patricia (Richard) Wenzel of Temple City, Calif., Mary (Kevin) Day of Glendale, Ariz., Margaret (Kurt) Rohrbach of Indianapolis and Paula (Christopher) Voglewede of Calgary Alberta, Canada; 14 grandchildren; and sister, Norma Weber of Teutoplis, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Celia Lueken; three sisters; and four brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Msgr John N. Suelzer officiating.
