HARRY D. KRIDER, 86, of New Haven, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Kingston Care Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late Harry and Arilla Krider. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, and an active volunteer for the New Haven Food Bank. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He retired in 1987 from NIPSCO. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Krider of New Haven; granddaughter, Alexa; one great-grandchild; and companion, Anna Gordon of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn. Funeral service is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, with calling two hours prior. The Rev. Paul Shoemaker officiating.
