JAMES E. BENNETT, 66, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at his residence. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., James worked as an Electrical Engineer with Raytheon for 33 years. He also was an Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly (Leon) Edwards of Kokomo; son, Jeff (Miriam) Bennett of Huntertown; five grandchildren; two brothers; and five sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Thelma Bennett. Service is 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at the funeral home.
