JAMES L. LOVELLETTE, 62, of Bluffton, died on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at home. Born Nov. 10, 1949, in Decatur, he was the son of the late Harry and Pearl Lovellete. He retired from Perfection Bakery after 38 years of service. He loved fishing, hunting, karaoke, and remodeling. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (whom he married in 1967); sons, Scott (Michele) and Samuel, both of Bluffton; three grandsons, Daniel, Justin and Tyler; one great-grandson, James Lee; sisters, Susie (John) Nuttle, Bonnie Dabbs, Patricia and Rosie Lovellette; brothers, Robert, Donald (Neil) and Ronald (Patricia); and his best friend, John Heenan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sally; and a brother, Melvin. Funeral service is 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. www.covingtonmemorial.com
