JEANETTE BOYD SAUER, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born Sept. 1, 1933, in Danville, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Verna and Luther Westerfield. A member of Abundant Life Church, she worked for Aveys Grocery, until they closed, then for Krogers, until they closed, then she went to work for McKesson Environmental Systems, and then retired from Safety Kleen, in Elgin Ill., before moving back to Fort Wayne for retirement. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Buryl Sauer; children, Dick (Virginia) Sauer, Jennifer Stith, Ned (Debra) Sauer, and Jonathan (Nancy) Sauer, all of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and sister, Naomi Sauer of Ocala, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Norma Webb; and grandsons, Scott Sauer and Kayden Stith. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne.
