JOHN R. PFISTER, 47, went home into the arms of Jesus on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Glen- brook Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne on Oct. 28, 1964 a son of Robert L. and Janice M. (Bahler) Pfister. He worked for Pfister Brothers Farms and then Tower Automotive in Auburn and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Leo. He enjoyed all sports, Nascar, and his favorite thing was spending time with his children. Surviving are his parents, Robert and Janice Pfister of Leo; son, Brett Pfister of Auburn; daughter, Breana Pfister of Auburn; brother, Robert Pfister of Beverly Hills, Calif.; sisters, Nancy (Jay) Brandenberger of Fort Wayne, Elaine (Shane) Chapin of New Haven. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian Church, 11714 Grabill, Rd., Leo, Ind. with calling one hour prior. Pastors Lynn Stieglitz and Tom Swank officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at the church. Burial in Leo Memorial Park Cemetery.
