KENNETH L. DeBROSSE, 89, died peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born in Sidney, Ohio. After serving in the Navy during WWII, he worked as an Instructor at Miami University of Oxford,Ohio, as an Engineer at ITT, and at Conrail. He was an inventor of five U.S. patents, primarily in the field of aerospace electronics. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Marjorie DeBrosse of Fort Wayne; son, David DeBrosse of Northern Indiana; daughter, Katharine (Robert) Nees of Richardson, Texas; son, John (Suzanne) DeBrosse of Colchester, Vt.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Quintin (Donna) DeBrosse of Cincinnati, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Betty DeBrosse of Three Rivers, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Josephine DeBrosse; and brother, Gerald DeBrosse. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at D.O.
