KENNETH W. DRUSHAL

KENNETH W. DRUSHAL, 84, of Angola and Arcadia, Fla. (where he spends winters), passed away on Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at his home. Born March 6, 1926, in Fremont, he was the son of the late William and Velma (Jauques) Drushal. He married Willa (Burch) Drushal on Oct. 26, 1946; she survives in Angola. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran serving in the 10th Armored Division under General Patton. He worked as an engineer at Dana Corp., Angola for 40 year, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Fremont American Legion, George Anspaugh Post, V.F.W. and the Angola Moose Lodge. Also surviving are his daughter, Deborah (Lonnie) Chiddister of Angola; two sisters, Darlene Schilling of Quincy, Mich. and Joan Banker of Coldwater, Mich.; two grandchildren, Corbett Etheridge and Kelly Peppler, both of Angola; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Peppler and Cassidy Green, both of Angola. He was also preceded in death by his two daughters, Kathy Etheridge on Feb. 2, 2008 and Laurice Drushal on Sept. 23, 2001; one granddaughter, Charlene Etheridge; and one sister, Mildred Stout.
