LOIS I. THOMPSON, 85, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born on Dec. 4, 1926 in Fort Wayne a daughter of the late Tim and Ruth (Walda) Bolton. She worked for Wayne Knitting Mill, K Parts, and at Wolf and Dessauer before retiring from L.S. Ayres. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving family include her children, Scott E. Thompson and Mary A. (Grover) Davis both of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, June and Helen Davidson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Ervin F. Thompson in April, 2010. A graveside service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funeral, Fort Wayne is handling arrangements.
