LORETTA M. (PUETT) KAISER, 67, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Oak Ridge, Tenn., raised in Greensboro, N.C., Loretta worked for many years as a design engineer, then later as an Apprentice Furrier with Pappas Furs. Loretta loved to sew, create, and be actively involved in the lives of her children and family. "She never knew a stranger and brought smiles to all around her." Surviving are her husband, George M. Kaiser of Fort Wayne; son, George (Katia) Kaiser of Columbus, Ga.; daughter, Meagan (Osamu Sahara) Kaiser of Nagoya, Japan; sisters, Deanna P. (Robert) Cox of Pinellas Park, Fla. and Patricia P. Hough of China Grove, N.C.; brother, James O. (Junette) Puett Jr. of High Point, N.C.; and sisters, Julia P. (Hunter) Paschall and Melinda P. (Dale) Kington, both of Greensboro, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Orin Sr. and Eva Emmaline Puett. Service is 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from 4 to 7 p.m. Chaplain Karen Kosberg officiating.
