LUPE HEREDIA, 61, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012. Born in Lorain, Ohio, he retired from Dana Corporation after 30 years and was a member of First Assembly of God. He enjoyed music, sports and loved his family. Surviving are his wife, Lydia Heredia of Fort Wayne; son, Valentino C. Heredia of Fort Wayne; daughters, Katana I. Heredia of Fort Wayne and Tina (Tony) Asmus of Muskegon, Mich.; two grandchildren; father, Gonzalo Heredia of Fort Wayne; and brothers, Andy (Teresa) Heredia of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Ben Heredia of Fort Wayne and Dan (Rosalva) Heredia of Frisco, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Heredia. Service is 10 a.m. Friday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 South Calhoun St., with calling one hour prior. Pastor Frank Sitcler officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the or the Kidney Foundation.
