MARIAN LUCILLE BROTT, 91, formerly of Montgomery Mich., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born Jan. 20, 1922, in Montgomery Mich., she was the daughter of C. Otis and Addie (Arch) Brott. Marian graduated from Montgomery High School and furthered her education at Huntington College, International Business College, and Michigan State University. She worked at Huntington College in the library and admissions office and was also a teacher at the Litchfield Community Schools. Marian belonged to the Montgomery United Brethren Church and enjoyed writing poetry and genealogy research. She was also known for her delicious sour dough bread. She is survived by many nephews and nieces, including Reta (Jerry) Todd and their sons, Justin, Ryan and Nathan (Amber), all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Eagle Funeral Home - George White Chapel, in Reading, Mich., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Pastor Don Lee officiating.
