MARSHALL O. MOSHER, 79, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012. Born in Columbia City, Marshall retired in 1996 as a head mechanic with the City of Fort Wayne, Parks & Recreation Department after 32 years service. He attended Union Chapel Church for 27 years and was a loving husband and father. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Edith L. Mosher of Fort Wayne; sons, Loren K. Mosher and Gale E. Mosher, both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Darlene (Doug) Cooper of Jane Lew, W.Va. and Carol Shriver of New River, Ariz.; brother-in-law, Loris G. (Dora) Aikins of Springfield, Ohio; and 16 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Mae Chase. Service is 11 a.m. Monday at Union Chapel Church, 12628 Coldwater Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Gary Reiber officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Union Chapel Church. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home.
