MARY FLORA KAOUGH, 90, died on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at home in the arms of the family that loved her dearly. "Flora was a kind and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who possessed a playful sense of humor and she was loved by all who met her." She enjoyed golfing, the beaches of Florida, lots of laughter, and spending time with family and friends. Born Jan. 21, 1922, in Riscoe, Mo., she was the daughter of Zilpha (Macklin) Bazzinett. On Sept. 2, 1943, she married her true love, Howard Kaough. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Howard Kaough of Kendallville; five children, Victoria (Robert) Woenker of Fort Wayne, Richard (Jacqueline) Kaough of St. Petersburg, Fla., Barbara (Cephas) Sutton of Kendallville, James (Deborah) Kaough of Wolcottville, and Deborah Boggs of Big Long Lake; eight grandchildren, Krissa (Ron) Keys, Nathaniel Woenker, Amanda Woenker and Angela (Tim) Dhillon, all of Fort Wayne, Jason (Cristy) Sutton of Kendallville, Jasten (Adam) Tuttle of Rome City, Jessica Kaough of Wolcottville, and Elizabeth Boggs of Fishers; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Marcella Jones; and a brother, Donald Bazzinett. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Church, 301 East Diamond St., Kendallville, with calling one hour prior to service. Fr. James Stoyle officiating. Burial in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville. Preferred memorials to Noble House Ministries, Inc. or the Humane Shelter of Noble County and may be sent to the funeral home. Donation envelopes will be available at the church on Saturday. Arrangements by Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State St., Kendallville.
