MICHAEL CHARLES TAPP, 64, died Nov. 14, 2012, in Charleston, S.C. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Charles and Susanna Tapp. He graduated from Concordia High School in 1966. He spent time on the Fort Wayne Fire Department and ran the Acme Bar on State Street for many years. He was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He believed this: "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Luke 19-10 and "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26. He is survived by sons, Michael (Cara), Chris (Marni) and Matthew (Casey); daughter, Catie (Adam) Makinson; five grandchildren that he adored; his brother, Charlie (Cindy); and step-brother Chris (Michelle) Koop. He was interred at Concordia Cemetery Gardens on Lake Ave. after a private family service on December 15, 2012. His Family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers.
