NAOMI M. COOK, 91, of Angola, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, in Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Angola. She was a homemaker in her own home. Born Jan. 13, 1921, in Williams County, Ohio, she was a daughter of Ross F. and Veryl (Martin) Mocherman. She married Wendell Cook on Oct. 26, 1941. She was a member of Edon Methodist Church, Edon, Ohio and attended the Angola Christian Church after moving to Angola. She was a member of United Methodist Women, Edon, Ohio and a volunteer for the CHWC Hospice of Bryan, Ohio. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Marytha and John Pitt of Nevada, Iowa, Jeanine and Jim Hulbert of Angola; one grandson and his wife, Josiah and Sarah Hulbert; two great-grandchildren, Leah and Allyson Hulbert; and one step-sister, Dorothy Helmecyi of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wendell Cook; daughter, Kathy Cook; and one brother, Donald Mocherman. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Edon United Methodist Church, Edon, Ohio, with David J. Miller officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola. Burial in Edon Union Cemetery, Edon, Ohio.
