RAYMOND S. HEIDINGER, 63, of Fort Wayne, was called to his Eternal Home on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. He was born on Nov. 24, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country in the Vietnam War. He recently retired from his position as E.H.S. Systems Manager at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. "His time and energy were spent serving the three things he loved most: God, his family, and his country." His love lives on in his wife, Wanda Heidinger; his legacy is carried on through his children, Jeremy (Denah) Heidinger of Madison, Ohio; Janeen (Denis) Lopez of Fort Wayne, Aaron (Charica) Heidinger of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Shane (Erika) Heidinger of Fort Wayne, Shanda Heidinger of Fort Wayne, and Kelsey (Toby) Chin of Fort Wayne; his pride and joy were his seven grandchildren; he cherished the time he spent with his brothers and sisters, William Heidinger of Columbia Station, Ohio, Richard "Pete" Heidinger of Willowick, Ohio, Linda Britton of Lakewood, Ohio, Mary Mullee of Brookpark, Ohio, Kenneth "Bob" Heidinger of Berea, Ohio, Janet Carroll of Brunswick, Ohio, Donald Heidinger of Cleveland, Ohio, Roland Heidinger of Lodi, Ohio, Gayle Plum of Cleveland, Ohio, Debra Skarupa of Lakewood, Ohio, Jeffrey "Mark" Heidinger of North Olmsted, Ohio. He follows into eternity his parents, Roland R. and Doris C. Heidinger. Service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Waynedale Baptist Church, 633 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
