ROBERT "BOB" M. ST. JOHN, 64, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at home in Fort Wayne. Born in Winchester, Ind., Bob retired from Sheller-Globe/ United Technologies of Grabill, Ind. after 32 years of service. He graduated from Warren High School Class of 1966, the last graduating class of the high school. He then graduated from Purdue University in the first graduating class at I.P.F.W. When he was no longer able to use his season tickets to Purdue football, basketball and the Colts, he could be found in his Purdue room watching the games with his loving boxer dogs by his side. "His love of sports was only exceeded by his love for his family." Surviving are his wife, Luann Boyer St. John; mother, Roberta St. John of Warren, Ind.; daughter, Laura Boyer (fiance Carey King) of Fort Wayne; son, Lucas (Meg) Boyer of Chicago, Ill.; very special niece, Carrie (Brian) Young of Fort Wayne; and sister, Sherry (Jon) Sills of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard St. John. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Pastor Steven Conner, officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in Bowers Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church.
