ROBERT T. TIPPMANN, 74, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked as a Sales Engineer with Tippmann Engineering. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Tippmann, of Fort Wayne; sons, Robert (Dani) Tippmann, Jr. of Arcola, Steven (Kim) Tippmann of Huntertown, Jim (Lisa) Tippmann of Fort Pierce, Fla., Larry (Traci) Tippmann of Liberty Township, Ohio, Jerry (Agnes) Tippmann, Dan (Jackie) Tippmann, Ron (Jennifer) Tippmann, Peter (Margee) Tippmann, and Sam (Misty) Tippmann all of Fort Wayne; daughters, Julie (Robert) Feightner of Fort Wayne, and Colleen (Adam) Krohn of New Haven; 47 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fr. Larry Tippmann, Don (Marie) Tippmann, Gene (Marilyn) Tippmann, John (Jackie) Tippmann, Vince (Lois) Tippmann, Tom (Mary Beth) Tippmann all of Fort Wayne, Joe (Laurel) Tippmann of Rapid City, S.D., and Denny (Mary) Tippmann of New Haven; sisters, Mary Ann Bobay, Helen (John) McCarthy, Virginia (Dave) Perkins, Sally (Rick) Ley, Nancy (Steve) Henry, Carol (Paul) Eisaman all of Fort Wayne; and sister-in-law, Barbara Tippmann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence E. and Mary L. Tippmann; brother, Tony Tippmann; and brother in law, Ed Bobay. Mass of Christian Resurrection is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 18, 2012 with calling one hour prior at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with Msgr John N. Suelzer officiating. Calling will be 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2012 with rosaries at 4 and 7:30 p.m. at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road.
