RUDOLPH F. "RUDY" DeVITO, of Fort Wayne, went home to be with Our Lord on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the towne House. Born July 7, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Felix and Evelyn DeVito. he worked almost 38 years for Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. as an electrical engineer and also served four years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Surviving are his loving family: wife of 55 years, Colleen DeVito; son, Mark DeVito; daughters, Cindy McCall and Kathy DeVito; sister, Rosemarie Stricker; grandchildren, Will Matravers II, Daniel McKimmie, Aaron McKimmie, Ross McKimmie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Basil DeVito; stepbrothers, Charlie, George and Ed Greenwood. Memorial Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd. Arrangements by Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial at a later date in Highland Park Cemetery.
