WILLIAM "BILL" MACK, 79, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, in Fort Wayne. Born in Erie, Pa., Bill work ed as a director of computer processing with GTE Data Services for 35 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and American Legion Post 82. He was an avid golfer and a member of Cedar Creek Golf Club, and enjoyed playing Santa for many children. Surviving are his wife for 55 years, Norma Mack of Fort Wayne; sons, Mike (Trish) Mack of South Windsor, Cont., Rev. Dave (Tami) Mack of Cincinnati, Ohio and Rob (Kim) Mack of Fort Wayne; daughters, Pam (Kevin) Fosnaugh and Mary (Rick) Roth, both of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Walt and Chris Mack; and sister, Barb Lynch. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Violet Mack; five sisters; and one brother. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with a Rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Entombment in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or Masses.
