JOHN S. GRABER, 71, of Grabill, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at his home. Born in Grabill, he worked as a trim carpenter with Chris Stauffer Homes for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Josephine Graber of Grabill; children, Pete (Priscilla) Graber and Paul (Martha) Graber, both of Grabill, Wilmer (Martha) Graber and Caroline (Lavon) Schwartz, both of New Haven, Enos (Ada) Graber of Woodburn, Edwin (Susie) Graber of New Haven, Michael (Marie) Graber of Woodburn, Johnny (Marie) Graber, Anna Marie (Menno) Schwartz and Rebecca (Joseph) Witmer, all of Grabill; 66 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Joel (Janice) Graber; and sisters, Edna Durham, Martha (Lavern) Graber, Ruby (Melvin) Lengacher and Emma (Jonas) Graber. He was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Caroline Graber; and sister, Rosann Steury. Service is 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at the John S. Graber home, 11438 Notestine Road, Grabill, with Bishop Daniel Schwartz officiating. Calling begins at noon on Saturday and continues till the service. Burial in Westridge Old Order Amish Cemetery, Grabill. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave.
