DALE LEWIS LAHRMAN, 86, of Pomona Park, Fla., died on Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka, Fla. Born June 10, 1925, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Henry Rubin and Jeannette May (Puehler) Lahrman. He lived in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area until 1985 when he retired from Teamsters Local 414, having been a truck driver for G & L Corporation. Upon retirement, he made his home in the towns of Crescent City and Pomona Park, Fla. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Crescent City, Fla. Surviving relatives include ten children, Kenneth (Jean) Lahrman of Churubusco, Garry (Yvonne) Lahrman of North Carolina, Jerry (Barb) Lahrman of Columbia City, Patricia Becker of Fort Wayne, Danny (Robin) Lahrman of Columbia City, Virginia (Al) Simerman of Fort Wayne, Rev. William (Beth) Lahrman of Michigan, Eileen (Randy) Witzigreuter of Fort Wayne, Michael (Karly) Morgan of Huntington, and Terra Lahrman of Texas; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grand children. Memorial service is 4 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Zion Lutheran Church, 101 E. North St., Columbia City.
