JACK LEE HEFFNER, 82, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, April 15, 2012, 3:55 a.m., at Kindred Health Care Center & Rehabilitation. Born in Muncie, he was the son of the late Eugene Perry Heffner and Edna Marie (Saffer) Heffner. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and Masonic Lodge; and former a member of the V.F.W. He was the manager for the appliance department at L.S. Ayres for 20 years. Surviving are his daughter, Beth A. (James) Wagner of Greenfield, Ind.; sons, John Heffner of Indianapolis and Kenny (Mindy) Heffner of Fort Wayne; sister, Penny K. (Richard) Ellenwood of Fort Wayne; and six grandchildren. Memorial service is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses South Central Congregation located at 6000 Abbott St., Fort Wayne. Mr. Chuck Spohr officiating.
