RICHARD A. "TONY" FIRKS, 58, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital with his family by his side. He was a 23 year employee of the Fort Wayne Street Department and was the property manager for Freuhof Park for five years. He was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed fishing, golfing, and cooking for his family, and he lived his life to the fullest. Surviving are his brother, Michael (Gail) Firks; sisters, Karen (Steve) Firks-Eshcoff and Diane Martz; nieces and nephews, Toni Marie, Stacy, Damion, Patricia, Cari Ann, and Andrew; and many great-nieces and great nephews. He will now join his parents, Violet and Richard Firks; nephew, Lee Alan; and two best friends, Lester Vance and Ron Miller in eternal peace. Mass of Christian Burial is 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 2120 S.
