R. MICHAEL "MIKE" FELGER, 68, of Avilla, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 1:20 a.m., at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendall ville. He was a 1961 graduate of Hunter town High School and a member of the Dillman United Brethren Church, Warren. He worked as a butcher at various locations. He enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family. Born June 7, 1943, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of Joseph and Betty (Fix) Felger. He married Brenda D. Weaver on May 1, 1982; she survives in Kendallville. Also surviving are his daughter, Julie of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Vickie (Ed) Gordon of Huntertown and Valerie (Alan) Glessner of Avilla; brother, Craig (Cindy) Felger of Fort Wayne; and granddaughter, Terri. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Felger. Funeral service is 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.
