ETHAN CHRISTOPHER HOFFMAN, 3, of rural New Haven, died on Sunday, April 29, 2012, as the result of a car crash at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 24 and St. Rd. 114. Born Sept, 6, 2008, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Joel Stephen and Christina Renee (Berry) Hoffman. He loved riding his bike, swimming in the family's pool, playing with Legos and cars, coloring and watching his Thomas the Train videos. "Ethan always stuck by his daddy's side, loved to help his daddy and worked until the job was done." Also surviving are siblings, Carley, Zachary and Emily; grandparents, Carl and Sue Ellen Berry, Stephen and Jamie Hoffman, and Patricia Hoffman; and great-grandfather, Alvin Berry. He was also loved by many of his cousins, aunts and uncles. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Westview Alliance Church, 9804 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior and from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
