LORETTA COUNTERMAN, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012. She was born on Aug. 5, 1932, in West Unity, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Barnes of Chicago, Ill. and Deanna Steppe of Indiana; seven grandchildren, Angelica Ferdinand of Washington, Heideliese, Aletta and Franklin, all of Illlinois, Daniel and Christopher Kerns, both of Indiana, and Thomas Simmon; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Thomas. Service is 11 a.m. Monday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N.
