MARY JULIA WORTH, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Marion, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie Perry. She graduated from Excelsior High School, in Berwind, W.Va. and then went onto Howard University for a teaching degree. She was an active member of Warsaw Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Chris (Joan) Worth of Fort Wayne; sisters, Callie Wilson and Elizabeth O. Wisdom, both of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Valencia Boykins; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John A. Perry; and a sister, Maggie L. (Perry) Blackmon. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.
