MADOLYN R. FISHER, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born March 20, 1934, in Shelburn, Ind., she was the daughter of Walter C. and Verda M. (Brown) Reid. She retired from Pancner Psychiatric Services after 29 years. She was a long-time member of Emmanual Lutheran Church where she served as a Stephen Minister and a member of the Altar Guild. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, Robert D. Fisher; daughters, Janet L. Fisher of Des Plaines, Ill. and Cathleen R. Elkins of Fort Wayne; son, Robert M. (Janice) Fisher of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Lindsay (Lee) Brown of Fort Riley, Kan., Travis R. Fisher, Abby L. Fisher and Jacob S.Elkins, all of Fort Wayne; great-grandchildren, Maddison, Cayden and Khloe; brother, Max K. Reid of Interlachen, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life is 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, at Emmanual Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson St., Fort Wayne, with visitation with the family one hour before the service.
