NIKKI KENEECE THOMAS, 40, of Fort Wayne, departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. She was born on Oct. 21, 1971, in Lima, Ohio. Surviving are her son, Khem Thomas; mother, stepfather, Diane and Lester Woods; sister, Tameka Williams; special niece, Taryn Slayton; stepbrothers, David White, Bruce Stephens and Tim Williams; stepsisters, Nicole Nelson, Leslie Williams, Angie Catching, and Tamara Shears; grandmothers, Mary Little and Georgia Williams; a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Williams. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday at Imani Baptist Temple, with visitation two hours prior. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements by Carmichael Funeral Service.
