ETHEL F. WALKER, 89, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012, at Lutheran Life Villages. Born in Bibb County, Ala., she graduated from Rosen wald High School and attended West Virginia State College. She worked with the Fort Wayne State Development Center for 25 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness's. She enjoyed working with crafts, crochet, needle work, and sewing. "We would like to remember her as one who gave freely to others. She loved her family and cherished all her grandchildren." Surviving are her son, Kenes Randolph Walker of Fort Wayne; daughters, Suelena C. Ware, Carmetta L. Walker and Frances Belinda Walker, all of Fort Wayne, Ethel A. Walker of Atlanta, Ga., and Concetta G. (Bill) Winters of Hawaii; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grand children; two great-great-grand children; and brother, Carl H. (Eva) Sanders of Brussels, Belgium. She was preceded in death by husband, Alfred K. Walker; father, Paul Fowler; and mother, Julia A. Sanders. Private family services. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Memorials to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness's.
