L. GERALDINE COAD, 94, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at The Cedars in Leo-Cedarville. Born in Jasper County, Ill., she has been a resident of the Leo area since 1994. Surviving are her daughter, Shirley (Charles) Clark of Leo; grandchildren, Amy Apostol of Clearwater, Fla., Julie (Brady) Smith of Superior, Colo.; step-grandchildren, Bonnie (Barry) Kammeyer of Grabill, Cheryl (Kevin) Nill of Jacksonville, Fla., David (Natalie) Clark of Cincinnatti, Ohio; five great-grandchildren. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Rollie E. Cecil and Marie Chapman; husband, Clifford E. Coad; and a brother, Gerald Chapman. Service is 10 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
