BETTY LOU PFEIFFER, 84, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, May 28, 2012, at her residence. Born Jan. 30, 1928, in Lima, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Myrtle Bowsher. She was a member of First Assembly of God. Surviving are her husband, Donald E.; daughters, Priscilla Bruce of Fort Wayne, Sandra Pfeiffer and Laura Pfeiffer, both of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Philip (Amanda) Bruce, Cheryl (Eddie) Alcorth and Donald Bruce; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Scherer; and grandson, Delane Bruce. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, at First Assembly Church of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Don Williams officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
