CLYDE N. SMITH, 68, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Fort Wayne. Born in South Pittsburg, Tenn., he worked as a mechanic with Chemical Waste Management for 10 years and was formerly a driver for National ServAll. Surviving are his wife, Betty L. Smith of Fort Wayne; daughter, Shirley (Mark) Pace; sons, Charles (Jennifer) Smith, Clyde Edward (Melanie) Smith and Daniel (Angela) Smith; brother, Buddy Smith; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Myrtle Smith; and brothers, Charles, John and Jimmy Paul. Private burial in Star of Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
