EMILY D. (SMITH) HOUSHOLDER, 38, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Fort Wayne. "She was a loving wife, mother and daughter." Born Oct. 23, 1973, in Harvey, Ill., she was a daughter of Linda C. (Sullins) Smith and Tom Conroy. She moved to Fort Wayne from Dallas, Texas in 1989 and graduated from Homestead High School in 1992. On March 18, 2000, she married Shane A. Housholder at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Avilla; he survives. She is also survived by her mother and father, Linda and Steve Smith of Fort Wayne; father, Tom (Sue) Conroy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; son, Quincy A. Housholder (17) at home; daughters, Cree Arie (13) and Kennedy Rose (10), both at home; brothers, Steven (Amy) D. Smith Jr. of New Lennox, Ill., Derrick (Gina) M. Smith of Fishers and Christopher (Justine) B. Smith of Auburn, Calif.; sister, Aimee (David) L. (Smith) Durm of Carmel, Ind.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Brazzell Funeral Home, 530 North Main St., Avilla, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Avilla.
