EDNA BELLE MOTLEY, 93, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born June 27, 1918, in Fort Wayne, she graduated from Fort Wayne Central High School in 1936, and lived her whole life in Fort Wayne. She retired from General Electric with 26 years of service. She was a member of the Quarter Century Club, Elex, and Partizan Chapter of Elex Club. She was a lifelong member of Colony Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include three nephews, Dr. James (Sharon) Harris, Stephen (Charlotte) Harris of Fort Wayne, and Stanton (Sue) Haas of Danville, Ill.; and several great nephews and great nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Motley, in 1976; one brother; and four sisters. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling from noon to 2 p.m. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Parkview Hospice or Turnstone.
