CHARLES BRUCE KENNEDY, 57, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at his home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was in the law enforcement field for 15 years. He enjoyed going to the gym daily, weightlifting and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Surviving are his mother, Margaret Hyde of Fort Wayne; brother, Brian (Ellen) Kennedy of Fort Wayne; aunt, Dorothy Lindsey of Clinton; cousins, Kathy (Bob) Walls, Josh Rozina and David Lindsey, all of Clinton, and Tammy Lauche of Terra Haute; and friend, Reta Bolton of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Bud" Kennedy; stepfather, John Hyde; and grandparents. Service is noon Saturday, June 2, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling from 10 a.m. to noon. Fr. Cyril Fernandes officiating. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
