MARJORIE LOECHNER, 89, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, June 11, 2012, at home. Born in Barrow in Furness, England, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Hannah Anderton. She was a member of the St Matthews Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son, Steven (Patricia) Loechner of Roanoke; daughter, Janet (Adam) Kidston of Naperville, Ill.; son-in-law, Dan Hoffman of Laotto; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Loechner of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, with one due next month; and her devoted canine companion, Nellie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert F. Loechner, in 2003; daughter, Karen Hoffman; son, William Loechner; infant daughter, Janice Loechner; brother, Leslie Anderton; and sister, Mary Powell. Memorial Service is 3 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 2305 Goshen Road, with calling two hours prior to service.
