JAMES D. CAMPBELL, 72, of Williams Lake, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012, at his home. Born in Huntington, he graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne in 1958 and was a Marine Corps veteran. He retired in 2001 from Fox & Fox Frame Service, Inc. in Fort Wayne after over 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Peggy (Frauhiger) Campbell; sons, Warren (Mary) Campbell of Fort Wayne and James C. Campbell of Arizona; daughter, Karen Pridgen of Fort Wayne; step-daughters, Audine (Jim) Bucklew of Illinois, Tanya (Ron) Grandas of Florida, and Cynthia (Jeff) Richards of Kendallville; stepson, William (Tonya) Ruggles of Anderson; seven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary (Schockome) Campbell; infant daughter, Kathy Campbell; brother, Joseph Campbell; half-brothers, Arthur Teusch and Theodore Schockome; half-sister Ellen Rowan; and step-daughter Belinda Oswald. Service is 10 a. m. Wednesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Lane Burgland, officiating. Calling also 4 to 8 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
