THOMAS RAINES, 65, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, June 28, 2012, 1:47 a.m., at his residence. Born April 5, 1947, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Donald E. Raines and Elizabeth (Hopkins) Raines. He was a machine builder at Hook Industrial Sales, retiring after 20+ years of service in 2009. Surviving are his wife, Nancy K. Owen Raines of Fort Wayne; children, Robert (Carol) Raines of Roanoke, Kristine Butler of Churubusco, Toby Boitet of Fort Wayne, Joy WiIson of North Port, Fla., and Amanda (Michael) Boitet-Ball of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Diane Raines of Fort Wayne and Linda (Michael) Ramer of Albion/ nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with visitation one hour prior. Chaplain Cheryl Schmidt officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
