JOE H.H. SCHWARTZ, 76, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at home. Born in Adams County Ind., he was self employed in construction for many years, and later he worked at Brueggeman Lumber. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Betty; daughter, Fern (Aaron) Lengacher of New Haven; sons, Aden (Margaret Ann ) Schwartz, Allen (Fannie) Schwartz and Lavon (Caroline) Schwartz, all of New Haven; 31 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Schwartz and Emmie (Amos G.) Schwartz, both of Monroe; brother, Daniel H. (Lucy) Schwartz of Geneva, Ind.; sisters, Susan H. (Aaron) King of Gordenville, Pa. and Rosie H. (Joe U.) Schwartz of Monroe; brothers, Emanuel H. (Martha) Schwartz of Berne and Sam H. (Viola) Schwartz of Grabill; and sister, Mary Ann H. (Denny) Brandt of Angola. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Barbara Schwartz; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; brother, Henry H. Schwartz; brother, Noah H. Schwartz; two sisters; two brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the residence, 6422 Milan Center Road, New Haven, with Bishop Victor Graber officiating. Calling is Saturday, June 30, 2012 and Sunday, July 1, 2012, morning prior to the service, at the residence. Burial in Milan Center Amish Cemetery, New Haven.
