GARY GENE KNEPPER, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Fort Wayne, he retired from Fort Wayne Inter national Airport in 2006. He enjoyed camping and being at the lake. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Knepper of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sheila Covington of New Haven; sons, Jon Knepper of Seneca, Ill. and Gary (Lisa) Knepper of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lisa (Robert) Hostetler and former son in law, Keith Covington both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Donna Knepper, Patricia (Steve) Hill, and Janene (Steve) Simmons, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Quinn Keen, Brandi Knepper, Dylan and Morghan Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene Claire and Kathryn Irene Knepper; sister, Kathy Buelow. Funeral Service is Tuesday, 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior. Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Calling also from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 09, 2012 at the funeral home.
