MADGE A. MILLER, 86, of Huntington, passed away Friday morning, July 6, 2012 at her daughter's home in Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker. She was a 1943 graduate of Huntington High school. She was a member of the St. Peter's 1st United Church in Huntington and had served as the church librarian for many years. She was a 4H leader for 26 years. She was born on October 15, 1925 in Huntington the daughter of William J. and Meta (Vitz) Pleanitz. She was united in marriage to Frank A. Miller on June 16, 1948 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2003. Survivors include two sons, John A. Miller of Fishkill, N.Y. and Thomas A. (Barbara) Miller of Plattsmouth, Neb.; three daughters, Sue Mendenhall, Peggy Scher and Sally (Kevin) Kimmel all of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Richard A. Miller. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Ind. Pastor Richard Strick officiating. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will be at the St. Peter's 1st Church Cemetery in Huntington. Memorials can be made to the St. Peter's 1st Church or to Project Mercy; both can be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
