ALBERT J. LEON, 84, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his home. Born in Chicago, Ill., he worked as a salesman with multiple companies throughout his 50 year career. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and was a member of the John Birch Society. He enjoyed movies, music, food, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Cindy Leon of Fort Wayne; sons, Stephen, Donald, Eric, and William Leon all of Fort Wayne; daughter, Beth E. Leon of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Marge Laspesa, Ruth Leon both of Chicago, Ill., Gloria Sudlow of Ariz. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Ann Leon; parents, Joseph and Margaret Leon; son, Mark Leon, brother, Frank Leon; and sister, Esther Brennan. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with calling one hour prior, Fr. Gary Sigler officiating. Calling 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. with a vigil service at 8:30 pm.
