LINDA LEE DUXBURY, 67, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born Aug. 22, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Marcella Smith. She was a Real Estate property manager and had been a teacher in California. She was a member of Blackhawk Baptist Church and attended Tri-Lakes Baptist Church. Surviving is her son, Brett Duxbury of Kernville, Calif. She was also preceded in death by her infant brother. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Blackhawk Baptist Church, 7400 E. State Blvd., with visitation 1 1/2 hours prior to service. Pastor Kelly Byrd officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Blackhawk Ministries. Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
