STEPHEN W. ROBERTS, 62, of Monroeville, died on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, 9:30 a.m., at his residence following an illness of two years. Born April 6, 1950, in Hartford City, he was the son of Willadine J. (Herr) Roberts of Montpelier and the late Russell D. Roberts. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. He married Pam (Beck) Roberts on Dec. 31, 1981, in Fort Wayne. He was a tool and die maker and was formerly employed by Flashfold Carton, Fort Wayne. Also surviving are his wife of 30 years, Pam Roberts of Monroeville; daughters, Kelli (Paul Campbell) Fuelling of New Haven, Layhla (Matt) Jenkins of Delphi, Ind., Kim (Dan) Hamrick of Fort Wayne, and Sarah Grace Roberts of Monroeville; brother, Jim (Cheryl) Roberts of Fort Wayne; sisters, Jacqueline Faulkner of Decatur and Janet (Jimmie) Parson of Montpelier; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Betty Beck of Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren, Trae Roberts, Sophie Robbins, Alexis Karn, Natalie Karn, Alina Campbell, Daphne Hamrick, and Josie Simons. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, 111 South Water St., Monroeville, with visitation two hours prior to service. The Rev. Ralph Klinker officiating. Military Honors will be served by the Color Guard of American Legion Post 420, Monroeville. Preferred memorials to the family or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
