LOUISE E. DEWART, 89, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at The Village of Heritage in Monroeville. Born in Fort Wayne, Louise worked as a clerk with Montgomery Wards for 10 years. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and a graduate of North Side High School Class of 1941. Surviving are her son, Thomas E. Dewart of Albion; daughters, Diana L. (David) Owens of Mount Sterling, Ohio and Jody S. (Will) Zurbrugg of Monroeville; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris E. McGinnis of North Port, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Myrtle Todd; husband, Delmer "Dewey" Dewart; son, David T. Dewart; and brother, Charles C. Todd. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior of service at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Salem United Church of Christ.
