NORMA J. TATUM, 80, of Columbia, Ky., passed away on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, her home.Born in Hoagland, Ind., Norma work ed at Eagle Pitcher for 20 years before retiring from Meijer as a greeter for 17 years, in 2010. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and American Legion Post 499. She loved fishing, camping, baking, and playing Bingo. Surviving are her son, Arnold (Michele) Hakey of Fort Wayne; daughter, Donna Shroyer (companion, Rick Shaw) of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in- law, Twylia Hakey, Henny and Dolly Tatum; and brother-in-law, Freddie Tatum. She was preceded in death by parents, Noah and Rachel Hakey; husband, Leon Tatum; sisters, Mary Budd and Marcella Lobert; and brothers, Robert, Ambrose and Jess Hakey. Service is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with calling from noon to 2 p.m. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
