HAROLD L. BIGGER, 74, passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. Born Dec. 7, 1938, in Edgerton, Ohio, Harold worked as a cook with Hall's Restaurant for 46 years, retiring in 2002. He loved playing cards and fishing. He was also very dedicated to his work at Hall's Restaurant. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Catherine Bigger; daughters, Cynthia K. (Howard) Lowrey and Annette D. Martin, both of Fort Wayne; son, Harold J. (Christi) Bigger of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence O. Bigger and John (Carolyn) Bigger, both of Edgerton, Ohio and Donald L. (Laura) Bigger of Auburn; and sisters, Carolyn K. (Phillip) Snider of Avilla, Diane (Donald) Chaney of Edgerton, Ohio and Shirley Wheeler of Elkhart, Ind. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pauline Bigger; parents, Clarence and Pauline Bigger; brothers, Jerry, Robert and Ronald Bigger; and sister, Cheryl Kutz. Service is 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Russell Dewell officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
